When Strip is sent to Florida early in preparations for next year's racing season, Lynda tries to make the most of it and continues to celebrate the holidays without him by her side. Strip is determined to be with his wife for the holiday season. When a few incidents occur, Strip worries he won't make it home in time. But a promise is a promise and Strip never breaks one to Lynda.
