Every mammal on the planet participates in the world's largest and most sophisticated game of chess. There are allies and opponents; some animals aim to improve themselves to near exclusivity, while others attempt to improve themselves while influencing others around them. It's a game where anybody may be the king or queen, but they can also be used as pawns by others.
