AU based on what if Hiccup had left Berk on bad terms, for whatever reason, and made a life for himself as a Jack of all trades and mercenary. In my head-canon, he is suited to be an adviser/translator to kings and generals, so here he is at a treaty meeting. Gird thyself! I don't own How to Train Your Dragon in any way, shape, or form.
