The first in the Future of the Force novella series. Deron Krass, pit fighter and all around lowlife, along with the other crew members of the 'Nova Cardinal', gets thrust into a conflict between the Jedi Order and a legendary crime lord that apparently doesn't exist, learning something incredible about himself that effects his entire universe.
