A Chamber of Secrets AU ending where Fawkes doesn't re-enter the chamber to help heal Harry's arm. Instead, he leaves after delivering the Sorting Hat. Harry's a brave twelve year old kid, but even he can't survive Basilisk venom. But, then, he doesn't have to survive, does he? Riddle me this - do the concepts of good and evil actually exist?
