After the fall of the Manhunters, the Guardians accidentally release seven forbidden prototype rings and one of their most dangerous prisoners; Krona. With several dangerous weapons and the greatest evil they have ever faced loose in the universe, the Guardians are relying on Hal Jordan and his team to retrieve the rings and stop Krona before it's too late.
