Steve Rogers and Marcel Gerard were allies back in WWII. When Steve's search for Bucky leads him to New Orleans, Marcel and Steve are delighted to cross-paths once again. Marcel has him meet the Mikaelson family, with whom Steve soon becomes very popular with. A friendship begins to rapidly ascend with Elijah and Steve, and Rebecca and Steve form a potential romance.
