Summary
New York is divided into two distinct areas: the slums and the city. Annabeth lives in the slums with her surrogate family of wayward teens. They travel to the city to compete in a music competition in hopes of winning the 5 million dollar prize. Percy competes with his city friends, all while searching for Wise Girl, his childhood best friend, who he left behind 10 years ago.
