Pacific Rim AU. Before they were the Three Musketeers (and later, the Three Musketeers plus d'Artagnan), there was Savoy Bravo. That is to say, there was Aramis and there was Marsac, and then there was the Drift that connected them. Everything changed when Savoy Bravo went down. Or, the one where Aramis realizes Athos was right when he said fighting kaiju isn't child's play.
