One evening as Bilbo is looking forward to a companionable visit to the Green Dragon, a too-young, badly wounded Big Folk girl appears out of thin air. Ten years later, when Gandalf shows up at Bag End looking for a burglar things don't turn out as he expected. Based mostly on the movies with a great deal "borrowed" from Araceil's fabulous fanfic Fate be Changed.
