Summary
The marriage of Bellatrix Black and Rodolphus Lestrange was arranged for the sheer purpose of both parties carrying on their ancient traditions. Part of this arrangement was the need for an heir of the Lestrange fortune and to carry on the name. They had wished for a boy, but instead got a girl: Lyra. Though, perhaps she's proving more of a rare Black than Lestrange.
