Glinda the Good hid many a secret behind a beautiful smile, including the blackened, un-beating mess of her heart. It was her penance passed down from her namesake, but, nonetheless, a childish part of her that still dreamt of crowns of daisies, wands of violets, and maplefruit leaves, held out long after the veil turned to stone. Elphaba saved her once. Can she do so again?
