Summary
The Epic of Gilgamesh is the oldest epic story known to man. From the few clay tablets preserved over 4000 years ago, we are told the tale of a great King of Uruk and his achievements. Perseus, the Greek god of snakes and a mercenary, has been hired by the Mesopotamian gods of old to guide Gilgamesh and Enkidu. Danger is everywhere in the treacherous lands of the Near East.
