Who knew on that fateful summer day, that a unaware child had stumbled upon one of the darker forces in the world. For it would not bite, claw, or steal the soul of innocence, no. Instead it clutched and clung, holding on tightly to it. Sucking away sanity and replaced it with something much worse. Made it seem as if the whole world was against them, except for it.
