Once Upon a Hallowe'en

First attempt at a fic. JKR's version of what happened on Hallowe'en 1981 makes no sense. I have tried to provide a sequence of events to justify the actions of Dumbledore/Sirius/Hagrid based on the principle that nobody had any idea what was going on. Well meaning and not omniscient Dumbledore.
