Summary
In June 1998, Hermione Granger, brains of the Golden Trio and reputed brightest witch of her age, rejected an offered position with the Dept for Regulation & Control of Magical Creatures and for all intents and purposes dropped off the face of the earth. She has contact with one person during her absence, initiated due to the area of expertise this person has. (More in Chpt 1)
