A sequel to Love and War. A mysterious girl shows up at the Thornton's. Elizabeth tries to help this girl overcome trauma and speak her truth. Elizabeth also deals with unresolved grief. Meanwhile, The Mountie's ask for Nathan's help one more time to catch a criminal and Nathan deputizes Jack Jr. as a Mountie. Finally, Allie asks for Jack Jr. to help her with a loss of her own.
