It's been years since Freddie has seen Carly or Sam. He's been living his seemingly perfect life in Texas with his wife and daughter, believing that his drifting away from the two was how it was supposed to be. But then Freddie stumbles across Sam, who has just moved to town. Will he still be convinced that everything ended up how it was supposed to? Or will Sam change his mind?
