Summary
It finally happened. Shinji and Rei are forced by the greed and ignorance of NERV to bite down more than they can chew. Killed in a devastating Angel attack even their combined efforts could not foil, it seems that all is now lost. But it is not empty promises of love that will save the day this time, but rather the virtues of science and logic that the new NERV has forsaken.
