Summary
After a failed rebellion attempt in 1863, Lithuanian noble Tauras Laurinaitis flees his homeland rather than risk being sent to Siberia. Guilt-ridden, he is determined to keep the memory of his country alive the only way he can: printing and smuggling books in a language now outlawed by the Russian Empire. But what happens when he catches the eye of a certain Prussian gendarme?
