The Maytide Affair

During the Maytide Festival at Hogwarts, a Grand Ball takes place. Before the night begins Draco is happily betrothed, however before the night is over, he finds no other choice but to call off the engagement. Here's a question: who spiked the punch? And why is Hermione Granger approaching him when he's in such a vulnerable state? Perhaps she might turn this awful night around.
