In 1987 Meredith Grey has no idea why her mother isn't more angry that she got into a fight at school. The discussion that follows gives her three rules to live by 1. Do not incite violence—Don't start it. 2. Never let someone touch you without permission—Finish it. 3. Don't punch down—The bullies are fair game.
