The blood was so unbelievably rare. Who would ever be lucky enough to get their hands on it? You'd only ever see a dragon if you were stupid, everyone avoided them like the plague. It was a death sentence to even think about getting anywhere near where they lived. And, of course, she just had to know where one lived.
