The Reawakening

Her hair is in pigtails. Her cheeks rosy. Her blue eyes peering out at the parents. She still hopes he'll be there like he use to. Still forgets. Expects his face to appear. It doesn't. Because he's gone. Her mother hasn't left though. Won't. Promised. But she's not the same. When he left the light that once surrounded her dimmed and they're all trying to keep it aglow. AU L/P
