Professor Minerva McGonagall was surprised and more than a little concerned when Daniel Fenton's Hogwarts letter was addressed to a trash bin at a train station, so naturally Hogwarts staff went to investigate. They definitely weren't prepared for what happened when they found a homeless boy with some curious magical abilities.
