Sioku is a Pokemon trainer who possesses a special healing ability. Team Plasma pursues her with the help of Colress' teenage daughter Mira. After a confrontation with Mira and her friends, Sioku escapes to the ghost zone through a mysterious portal in her own back yard. The technical ghost villain Technus discovers her when she lands. Sioku ends up befriending him.
