Naofumi didn't know what to expect when he woke up in Melromarc. He'd expected an adventure. What he got was a betrayal. Now an outcast, Naofumi roams the land in hopes of getting stronger and try to live a somewhat decent life. Along the way, he meets new people who join him for they each have a reason to go on a journey. Then they learn something. The Gods have awakened.
