Based of a tumblr post . " Gilbert has to leave for the war so he sends Ludwig to live as an apprentice for Mr. Edelstein. Ludwig doesn't like being so far away from his brother or the mean Mr. Edelstein. But when he meets a mermaid? Maybe things become a little more bearable.
