Hermione decides to write a book after reading about the remarkable, lupine case of Arthur Kirkland. Her decisions is confirmed when she receives word that the man is still alive, and ready to tell his story to a willing listener. Once there, she has a chance to turn back, especially if she doesn't want to hear the haunts of a tormented past.
