Rise of Lyric

Sonic and his friends are on their way to Eggman's, wondering where he has been for the past few months. When they get there, they are transported to another dimension 1000 years in the past, and make a life for themselves there. During their stay, Sonic comes across a temple, accidentally awakens an ancient evil known as Lyric, and must stop him, not once, but twice.
