My original character, Rhun, visits Isara's grave five years after the war. The two of them were quite close, and read on to get at least the piece of the story I have written here.

Rhun, still stuck in the past, finds himself babysitting Isara, Alicia and Welkin's little daughter during a snow festival. His day with her, like all the ones before, help heal his soul. This is a continuation of "The Ever Blue Sky". Note: Isara Gunther in this story is the canon daughter of Welkin and Alicia, not... Isara.

A new commander, forced into his position, finds himself in the middle of a fantastical war that he had never dreamed existed. How will he cope with his new surroundings? Will he survive?
