A re-imagining of the closing scene of the first X Men movie. Erik iand Charles play chess in Erik's plastic prison, but this time their conversation isn't interrupted by the guard. This leads to some interesting revelations. Pure Cherik, obviously :P

Post XM:FC. Erik and Charles are still together, but the strain of Charles's injury, the threat mutants are under and their divergent ideologies is beginning to tell. Then a young mutant called Madeline shows up needing their help... Erik/Charles.
