After taking a tutoring role offered to her, Hermione Granger finds herself caught up in the life of the Riddle family. Merope, the adoring Mother who would do anything for her son. And Tom, the petulant young man who takes what he likes and does as he pleases. Horror, but still lots of fun.

Hermione has failed to come to terms with the memories of the War and finds herself isolated from her friends and her emotions. Enter, the Lodger. (Two-parter. M for adult themes.)

AU: Voldemort never appeared during the trio's time at Hogwarts. A young girl with a diary is found dead. A chance meeting in the library changes everything. Hogwarts has a new student.

The war is over, Light and Dark have blurred past recognition. Unknowingly harbouring a source of dangerously powerful magic, Hermione tracked down by Tom Riddle. He knows what lurks inside her, but he's no idea how to remove it. (This is the revamp, as I was unhappy with the original. Chap 1&2 are the same, different from 3 onwards).

An attack against a seventeen year old Tom Riddle leaves Hermione incarcerated in Gargan's Institute for Criminally Insane Witches and Wizards. But, he can't quite seem to leave her be. She knows something about him, and he needs to get it out - in one way or another.
