They return from Romania with Dracula in restraints...and an unexpected extra vampire. Story is done in three chapters. Thanks to all the reviewers for Ch1, it's what spurred me to finish it today!
An overly-playful and predatory Alucard is lulled by Walter...and then returns the favor, much to his chagrin!
Playing with Renfield's mind had been a disaster. Harker was less so, but still traumatized. Now Dracula has Van Helsing to manipulate into getting exactly what he wants. At least, that's what he expects...but a certain Dutchman is more clever and strong willed and determined than a crafty vampire accounted for! Not complete after all...Chapter 3 has been extended.
Abraham strives to turn the violent vampire he captured into a predictable, obedient, simple tool. Alucard strives to retain who he is against the monotony and restrictions that crush his very soul. A chance discovery helps him obtain the key needed to keep himself alive on the inside, instead of becoming the emotionless automaton Abraham expects.
Well, Abraham was able to get the monster chained in the basement. Now what?
A young Arthur finds himself vampire-sitting while Abraham is away, and things do not go as smoothly as expected. Completed!
