Haru is granted the gift of reincarnation, under which there is one condition he must fulfil before turning human again. Meanwhile, Makoto is desperately trying to keep Haru alive.
Haru was always a lone wolf in its literal sense – while they were in kindergarten, he would always be by himself. He would chase everyone away with his icy looks and his lack of social skills, and his blue eyes weren't any help as they were so piercing and frightful. Things change when he gets into elementary school…
As much as his heart is hurting, and as much as his hands shake, he whips out a small piece of paper and a pen before scribbling a quick and messy I'll be on my way now, Haru. I'll call you when I reach Tokyo. and places it on Haruka's empty desk. In other words, Makoto goes off to college without getting to say bye to Haruka.

A slip of the tongue, no control over his words, and Haru finds himself in a world without Makoto. But the Tachibanas suddenly have an urgent family issue to attend to, leaving Makoto in Haru's care. Haru isn't going to waste this chance.

Makoto doesn't want to pressure Haru into making decisions for the future, but over the course of time Makoto starts to doubt his relationship with Haru and whether they will be able to stay together even after graduation.
It isn't Makoto's voice that wakes up him first. It's the sudden chilling freezing sensation that rips through his chest and entire body, leaving him with nothing but dread.

It's Valentine's Day. And even though Makoto isn't a girl, he decides that it's time to confess to someone special. Making chocolates can be a hassle though, especially when you have very curious younger siblings.
