This is a reworking of my original story, Where The Light Enters. Four years was a long time to hold her family together, but Mai had done it. But now, for their gravest challenge. Naru had returned. SPR was back in business. But this time, the ghosts were theirs.
Three years was a long time to try and hold her makeshift family together, but Mai had done her best. But the team had experienced more downs than ups, and no one was the same, except, maybe Naru himself. He asked her for her help pulling the team back together, but can seven people who had gone through so much really go back to the way things were? And did Mai really want to?
Dean glared at his father in the rear view mirror as he pulled his shivering brother into his arms. Being left at Sonny's hadn't been the punishment. This was his real punishment. Having Sam think he had abandoned him for four months.
"Inuyasha dreamed of the scent of blood."- An updated posting brought over from my original account (@ EverReader) to my new one. A coda to Episode Forty- "The Deadly Trap Of Kagura The Wind Sorceress".
A Reader mentioned wishing they knew what had happened to an OC of mine, named Ellie, who had a cameo at the end of Chapter Four of Tuesday's Child. I decided to give her a happy ending. You will want to read Tuesday's Child first.
It wasn't a bitter victory, but it was a broken one. Sam had saved Dean by becoming a monster, because some battles, only a monster could win. That was Sam Winchester's secret, and that was his truth. A tag to the first three episodes of Season 10.

The third set of stories in my Confessions 'Verse, but completely stand-alone. Will make sense if you haven't read the other stories. Canon compliant Sam-centric episode tags.
First set of stories in my Confession's 'Verse, but completely stand-alone. The life and times of the Samulet, and the four scenes we never saw that lead to the saving of the world (or, at least Dean Winchester). My personal version of a fix-it fic that could be cannon compliant.
The backstory of the Toy Soldier, you know, the one that saved the world. Oh, the Winchesters are in it, too. And some guy named Chuck...
There are an infinite number of universes out there. In one of them, the Doctor may finally get his happy ending-if he's willing to fight for it. Because someone he didn't even know he needed is about to run into his life, and she's going to re-write every line of it. OFFICIALLY OFF HIATUS, NOW POSTING UNDER NEW PEN NAME!
Sam stared at their father. Dean recognized that look. It was the look Sam wore when he finally identified what they were hunting. When he realized the nature of the beast. When he knew the name of the monster. But this time, Sam was staring at their father.
"I have a message for you." The girl ran the knife almost lovingly down Dean's cheek. "From your brother." Her smile was cruel and beautiful. Her words were absolute. "Stop. Looking." In 1998, forty-three children disappeared, vanishing into the night. Among them was 15-year old Sam Winchester. Now seven of them have returned.
John Winchester knelt before his four-year old son, heart pounding. "Dean, where's your brother? Where's Sammy?" He asked desperately, grasping the scorched blue baby blanket in his hand as his house burned down behind him. "Who's Sammy?" The tearful child replied in confusion. Gabriel watched, invisible to them, the sleeping infant safe in his arms...
