Nell returns from a 10 month reassingment with the CIA to assist the team with a case that intersects with her time away. The people she left behind have to come to terms with what that time away did and if they can convince her to stay when the case is solved.

Nell and Callen are on a stake out and playfully argue over a Tootsie pop. Happy surprises ensue.
