Ward wants to talk with Skye. She's kind of avoiding him. He just wanted to make sure that she was fine. She didn't want to get her ass kicked by May. So, she worked and ignored him. Sequel to the season Finale and last part in my post-episodes series. The team struggles to find a way to work in their current condition. Skye has to bring him back to save Coulson, but Grant is determined to protect her from the monsters, even if he has to protect her from himself, or her team. Skyeward.

Some nice Hydra-less AU. The team goes is to retrieve an 084 with a set of mysterious powers, including body swapping. When Ward tries to protect Skye from the blast of energy they end up in the shoes of the other, literally. Full of Awkwardness. Skyeward prompt.

Skye survived, but she's still unconscious and Ward just wants to hear her voice again. Before she wakes up he will realize that there's a reason why he misses her that much, and many other reasons why that's a bad idea. At the end of the day, he'll always choose to protect her. SkyeWard
