Stanley Pines has been living in Gravity Falls for ten years. On July 4, 1982 Stanley's twin, Stanford, comes to town for the weekend. When Stanley dissapears it's up to Stan and "the ten" to bring him back. Will they succeed? Or will Stanley be lost to the world forever?
This is a one shot based off of the song When You're Gone by Avril Lavigne. I suggest that you listen to the song while reading the story, but you can do whatever. I was really sad while I wrote this so be ready for sadness.
I can't say much without giving the enter story away so.. August 16 is not a good day for the people living in Gravity Falls... Is that good enough? I don't know. I always take my brother for granted. Some people back in California always told me to cherish every moment I have with him because one day I may not have him. Some even called me lucky to have someone who cares about me to the point of always being there. I never listened though, but now I wish I did...
