As war breaks out in 1914 Nasir travels to Belgium as a Medical Orderly in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force. During the extraordinary events of the Christmas truce he meets a German Captain named Agron. The two feel an irresistible bond between them but how will there love survive as they fight on opposite sides of the Great War.
