Kagome was given the books by her brother, she never thought she would actually like the love story, but she did...and when she is thrown into the world because of an old lady with a grudge against Miko's, it turns out to be a blessing to her more than a curse like the old lady wanted it to be. Maybe she could have a happy life after all.
