I always wondered why Severus went to Dumbledore with his admission of guilt and request to save Lily. There were plenty of other ways and people he could have given the information to without committing himself to a miserable life trying desperately to receive redemption and forgiveness from people he didn't like. Here's my take on what could have happened.

The butterfly effect- what if Severus found a bike one day... would it make him follow a different path? Or would he ultimately end up in the same position?

This is an idea that just would not leave me alone!

What if little Severus plucked up the courage to run away from home...

This is a tale akin to Arthur and Merlin, but instead of a muggle and a wizard, it involves a halfblood prince, called Severus and a muggle by the name of Siegfried, standing together in the shadows of the world to restore the balance. p.s. I don't own anything- t'is all the work of J.K
