A New Caprica Fic. Laura tries to sleep, haunted by the ghosts of what used to be, finding solace in letters and books from Bill. "It was the silence Laura couldn't get used to. The way the world seemed to just stop after night fell and everyone settled for the night. The cold, the rain, the food, even her newfound relative unimportance she could get used to. But not the silence."
Updated with a little Birthday tale and a heaping helping of mothership fluff. Formerly just "Tara." It is now an episodic story, with the fun and mildly angsty adventures of Sharon and her oldest friend, Tara. Freestanding, and in no particular order. Now containing part II, an adventure involving pancakes, two near-heart attacks, and a wedding story.
Now updated with "Special Master" tag, in two parts: "Worry, Anxiety, Terror" and "Crash." This collection is now complete. A series of enhanced and revisited Mother!ship scenes, told from Sharon's perspective. Stand alone, but compatible with previous similarly themed one-shots. Grouping together all season 3 episode tags here.
Roslin/Adama shaking hands. "The first time, everyone knew it was a slight. The way he glanced down at her extended hand without comment and pushed through, leading the way down the corridor." An angsty, rather painful Christmas present fic for presidentroslin over on Tumblr.
Our lives are a series of moments, tied together by the people we know, the choices we make, the relationships forged. An exploration of the people, choices, and relationships that created the Sharon Raydor we all know and love. An absolutely unapologetic backstory fic. COMPLETE. Final update includes TWO chapters. Be sure to read both!
The final installment of Mothership scenes revisited. "When had this happened? When had she thrown her trademark emotional distance out the window only to replace it with, well, love? When had Rusty, with his cutting remarks and emotional mess, wormed his way into her life for good?" Presented in two parts.
Sharon struggled to keep her face neutral as Rusty continued. "And thirteen is… is really young for all that. It's really young." Sharon finally spoke. "Fifteen is really young for all that too." Twenty is young for all that, she thought. They were all always so young. A dark take on the "Be kind. Be safe" conversation. Stand-alone, but compatible with "Engulfed" series.
A somewhat angsty take on Sharon's thoughts during "Under the Influence" as well as her relationship with her own mother, and the influence that has had on her relationships, particularly with Rusty. Stand-alone, but suggested alongside "Engulfed," "Honesty," and "Nostalgia."
1x07. Sharon has an epiphany regarding Rusty after more than one difficult conversation with him. Angst, fluff, and giggles ensue.
1x09, "Cheaters Never Prosper." Sharon is visited by a rather insistent bout of nostalgia on the way home at the end of a long day. What she finds there only encourages the feeling.
Episode tag for "Jailbait," 2x13. Sharon's conversation with Rusty brings back painful memories. Mostly Sharon angst with a little fluff thrown in at the end.
