It was less than a sweep ago that they'd done it. Their lusus finally giving consent when they were 6 sweeps. Just a cute little headcanon of mine that the male trolls all have gauged ears and that they decided together. And that Karkat did the most studying so he takes care of most of them when they like size up and stuff. T for swearing!
