It feels like I am a puppet tied down by invisible strings and Peeta is the puppeteer controlling my every move. He has complete control over my mind and body. And I'm okay with that.

Mockingjay's can't fly unless they have their wings, and for Katniss, Peeta was her wings. But that all changed when he was abducted by the Capitol. President Snow couldn't capture the Mockingjay but he could restrain her wings.

In one swift motion he has me pinned against the tree with both arms on either side of me. His eyes are filled with desire as he bites his lip and stares at me. Our chests press together with every heavy breath we take. His actions are uncharacteristic and intense, and are probably his darker side coming out, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't excite me.

President Snow watched as Peeta squirmed and his body pulsated out of the chair he was handcuffed to. His screams sounding like music to his ears. The visible bolts of electricity reflected in his eyes as they took the life out of Peeta's.

"It wasn't special enough to make you stay, so it wasn't special enough to make me remember you."

The Queen held her close to her heart and kept her there. She wasn't sure how long it had been since Elsa had last allowed her to touch her but she was going to cherish this moment with everything.
