SnakeFeathers

  • Dark Sunrise

Vampire AU. He'd learn later, long after the fall and the cold and the muzzle, that he'd had a bad Turn. He didn't know that then, however; all he knew was that his body was changing, teeth growing sharp and the hunger howling in his ears. It was hard to resist the urge to bite, but the protectiveness was stronger than the hunger. He told himself he'd never hurt Steve. Never.

  • Something Lovely, Something Strange

A collection of short drabbles and ficlets of various AUs based on the MCU. Characters, pairings, AU types and more will all vary from chapter to chapter. Feel free to send in your own AU ideas! Submit your ideas in a review or over on the tumblr blog, imaginemcuaus. 5- Vampire!Bucky and human!Steve

  • Mithridatism

Mythical Creature AU. With war raging and unable to fight, Steve's frustrations grew. His city life sheltered him from many of the non-humans that filled the land, but that all comes crumbling down when he encounters a dragon. With wings that could crack through the sky and venom cold enough to suck the life from all it touches, surely this creature can't be befriended... right?

  • Sign

Post-CATWS. Winter Soldier spoilers. Bad luck seemed to be Clint's calling card, his lot in life. This mission was simple and straightforward, but of course something would go so horribly, catastrophically wrong. Why did HYDRA even keep that tank in that base anyway? And since when did Barnes know sign language?

  • The Ice in Our Bones

HYDRA beat SHIELD to the wreckage, retrieving an alive Steve Rogers from his icy tomb. Viable, HYDRA quickly starts work on its newest and deadliest weapon. However, the Captain's presence is damaging the Winter Soldier, bringing out erratic, dangerous behavior. Two men, brothers both lost to the cold embrace of time and caught in the tendrils of HYDRA, must find a way to survive.

  • Waking Ghosts

Post-TWS. Images, sounds, faces that weren't quite familiar were surfacing. HYDRA and SHIELD had both fallen, entangled in each other's webs, leaving victims on both sides. The Winter Soldier had been abandoned, alone and confused and aching so much. With nowhere to go, there is only one person he can seek out for answers- the man from the bridge. The man he was supposed to kill.

  • Never Trust Secondhand Intel

Post-TWS. It was supposed to be a quick assignment, in and out within three hours. It was just a small installation of HYDRA holdouts, nothing they hadn't done a million times before. Some bad intelligence and information, however, sent the Avengers into the fray without knowing just what they were in for. Sniping is only effective when you aren't found, and hypothermia is not fun.
