A few prompt fills for Whumptober 2018. Edit: So "a few prompt fills" got out of hand. This is now a lot of prompt fills. Mostly involving Aramis suffering (because I'm a horrible person :)
"They told him it was an accident. That was easier to deal with… easier for them all to deal with." After the massacre at Savoy Aramis returns home with amnesia. Each night he forgets and in the morning he remembers nothing. It seemed merciful to keep him in the dark... but the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
"Oh mercy, mercy, I've been caught, lying with my darkest thought..." Trapped and buried beneath the earth Aramis and Athos are forced to face the darkness.
It had been said that musketeers did not die easily. They fell like autumn leaves that day... Five years later Aramis still struggles with the aftermath of the Savoy massacre. But he does not struggle alone.
"They know." And with those two words the world came crashing down.
The musketeers set out to investigate a spate of killings in Paris. But as the bodies mount up, can Aramis keep himself from unravelling?
Even the strongest of friendships can fray and tear along the way.
Every story has a beginning and an end...
"Violence is a disease, a disease that corrupts all who use it regardless of the cause." Chris Hedges. After receiving some terrible news Aramis seeks solace in violence, leaving men red and ruined in his wake...
Enter on a silent scene disturbed only by a raven's call…
