Strange things are happening around Mission Creek. Adam's friend Chase has been acting really weird. Not to mention the new kid in town, Spike, who has been causing a lot of trouble. But what does Spike have to do with Chase? And why is Chase so concerned about his own "disappearance"? (AU and OOC. Based on "Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson.)
She had seen the news stories time and again. But she didn't ever think HE would be the one they would talk about. His reason for doing it was what genuinely scared her. Having a gun pointed at you is frightening enough, but with your brother on the other side it's heart-wrenching. She's finally built up the courage to visit him. But every second in his presence breaks her heart.
Sitting in a cell gives you a lot of time to think. She crouches on the cold, metal floor, looking up at the man who rescued her. Does she love him for that? Respect him? Or just fear him and the things he could do to her? Sometimes she regrets the life she left behind – as hard as it was. She turns away, hoping he doesn't see her tears.
My name is Aspen Summers, daughter of Bree Davenport Summers. Years ago a tyrannical despot known as The Sovereign rose to power. He is heartless, cruel, and oppressive. My mother and uncles lead a rebellion known as the Defiance and fight against him. Now, at fifteen, I'm finally old enough to help. I hereby promise myself to restore freedom to our world, no matter what the cost.
Bree fingered the worn corner of her Bible and sighed wistfully. She put the pencil down on the paper to complete her letter. A tear slipped down her cheek as she signed her name. "I miss you," she murmured. (Based on the song "The Words I Would Say" by Sidewalk Prophets. One-shot.)
On a normal day in Mission Creek, Chase and Dustin kidnap Rose and Bree to take them on a romantic double date. But it doesn't seem to be going the way they planned. They have to deal with injuries, allergies, and meddling brothers, just to name a few things. This date is NOT going smoothly. (PurpleNicole531 let me borrow her OCs for this story. Chase/OC and Bree/OC. NO BRASE!)
Watching Bree deal with losing her bionics was one of the hardest things Adam ever had to do. He hated seeing the pain it brought her. Adam would do everything in his power to comfort her. He wanted to remind her that she was still the same girl she always had been; that she was still his sister. (Songfic; based on the song "Still That Girl" by Britt Nicole.)
Leo shook his head and stared at the wall directly across from him. His knees were drawn up to his chest and there were tears in his eyes. He was still trying to wrap his head around the idea. He couldn't believe it. I mean, there was no way! There was no way that it was all a lie . . . (One-shot; rated T to be safe.)
It wasn't right. She knew that, and she knew that well. But did she have a choice? No. So she plotted; she planned; she deceived; she lied. She was walking on a thin line, knowing she must follow him, but at the same time, wanting to break free of his control. But she could not. She could never. She was doomed to wear this mask of falsehood for all eternity.
Bree Davenport was just a little girl. She was Donald's little girl. But like it or not, Bree was growing up. As hard as that was for Donald to comprehend, he knew it was true. So he would spend the time he had with Bree wisely. Because you know what? Donald loved her. (Songfic; based on the song "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman.)
"Do you guys remember the conversation we had a long time ago? When we first started living as normal kids? . . . The one where we made a last resort pact; if anyone ever discovered our bionic secret."
Adam, Bree, and Chase are invited to a summer church camp by Bree's friend Lucy. At first they are reluctant to go, but they eventually give in. From the very first day it appears that this camp will be full of adventure, challenges, questions, and – most of all – faith. (There are OCs but no romance. Rated T for religion and some adult themes.) ***ON HIATUS***
Crying episodes in the middle of the night, a hundred messes and broken inventions, arguments that make a rock concert sound quiet; raising kids can be so difficult! Especially when those kids are bionic super-humans. What did Donald get himself into? (A bunch of one-shots about the Lab Rats as kids.)
Sometimes she cried; he never cared. He had tried to kill her. No one said it was going to be easy. She didn't expect it to be. She knew what she had signed up for. But she didn't care. He was her brother, and she loved him. She vowed to be there with him every step of the way, no matter how heartbreakingly painful it was. (Sequel to "By Reason of Insanity.")
It was a simple phrase; one that was meant to help, not to hurt. But it stuck with Bree all her life. Whenever she was hurt, whenever she was teased, whenever she was sad, Bree bit her lip and held back the tears. Because she was a big girl, and big girls don't cry. (One-shot. Slightly OOC.)
His family wouldn't even give him the time of day. They thought he was useless. He was nothing compared to his genius sister. Sometimes he wondered if they even loved him. So that was why he didn't really feel bad about what he was about to do . . .
The moment he looked into her eyes, he knew that they were meant for each other. He promised that he would always be by her side, and he kept that promise faithfully throughout his life. No matter what happened to them, they loved each other just as much as they had on that first date so long ago. (Leo x Janelle. Based off of the song "Walking Her Home" by Mark Schultz.)
Donald watched as the nightmare unfolded before his eyes. All the lies he had come up with to protect his family were falling apart. His kids - and yes, he considered them HIS kids - no longer trusted him. But Donald never meant to hurt them. He regretted everything. (Tag to Bionic Showdown. Based off the song "Human" by Manafest.)
Unshakable. Unbreakable. Untamable. Unstoppable. They were a team. More than that; they were brothers and sisters, bound by blood and the undying loyalty they all possessed. So that was why he could only assume his sister had given her life for an honorable cause. Why else wouldn't she be here with them?
His eye twitched—a glitch he had come to anticipate. The deep, menacing chuckle rose from the very depths of his being. His eyes flicked left and right, observing the endless lines of code. In front of him were the monitors that showed what was going on in the world—HIS world. They hadn't stopped him in time. He was too powerful for them. He laughed again.
