It's day after Sonic's birthday party and Sonic finds out somebody stole a chaos emerald from his house the day before. While searching for the thief, he meets Shadow and then discusses with him if the dark hedgehog actually has a birthday when he wasn't born...slight Shadow/Sonic

Dr. Eggman transports Sonic to the future. Here he meets the future Dr. Eggman, who was able to take over the world thanks to his disappearance. But this Dr. Eggman isn't happy with this future and wants Sonic to travel back to his own time to change it.

Eggman altered reality. Here, in this reality, Sonic's position in history was taken by Shadow. Nobody knows him. Well, except Shadow, who himself doesn't like this change at all...

Tails invented new device of name T.R.U.T.H. It makes people say truth if shot by it. Sonic and Tails decide to use it on Eggman to find out what his next plan is. However, it reveals side of Eggman, neither of them have ever seen before.
