Post Ep for A Magical Place. In the hours after his rescue, Agent Phil Coulson struggles with his physical injuries as well as the beating his faith, beliefs and sense of reality have taken. Takes place in the same "universe" as Things Aren't Always so Magical at Midnight in which Phil realized that May knew what happened to him after he "died".

Before the events of the season 2 premiere Phil spends some time talking with Simmons about both his situation and of course about Fitz. Takes into account some of the events in episode 2 but does not incorporate the scenes from episode 3 which are floating around the internet.
